Epic Goal
- Support lazy image pull in Openshift
Why is this important?
- Lazy image pull allows faster start up of containers which in turn improves serverless cold start time.
Scenarios
- As a cluster admin I would like to start the container images as fast as possible, even on the node where the respective container image is does not exist already.
Acceptance Criteria
- CI - MUST be running successfully with tests automated
- Release Technical Enablement - Provide necessary release enablement details and documents
Dependencies (internal and external)
- Non-blocking dep on c/storage - This feature requires modifying a config file used by c/storage. If the c/storage supports drop-in config, then OCP won't have to override entire storage configuration.
