      Goal

Provide a dashboard similar to the Rook-Ceph dashboard for LVMO. We should also leverage a Console plugin so that we can update the dashboard independently from the OCP code base

      Problem

No visual way to monitor LVMO performance and capacity

      Why is this important?

Customers are used to the Rook-Ceph and NooBaa Dashboard we already provide in full-scale clusters. Since we strive to provide similar experiences on SNO clusters, we should also add a dashboard.

      Prioritized Scenarios

      In Scope

      • Show values over the different nodes:
        • IOPs
        • Bandwidth
        • % disk busy
        • Thin-Pool free and total capacity (can be percentage)

      Not in Scope

      • Dashboard in ACM

      Customers

Nobody asking about this yet, but I'm sure they will

      Customer Facing Story

As an administrator, I want to quickly identify if a node is saturated by IO requests (% busy) or filling up more quickly than other nodes.

      What does success look like?

We have a dashboard for LVMO that can give a quick overview of the performance budget that is available and the available capacity
