This spike is for refining the LVMS feature “Introduce StorageClassOptions”, where LVMS allows users to configure selected attributes of the StorageClasses it creates at the LVMCluster.deviceClass level.

This spike blocks the feature and is required to fully scope, design, and break down implementation work into epics and stories.

The spike is considered complete when:

• All open design and behavior questions are answered

• API shape and validation rules are clear

• Controller behavior for Day-2 updates is defined

• Dependencies and risks are identified

• Implementation work can be split into concrete epics/storie
