We want to make sure that GCP UPI clusters have a documented procedure for setting up MachineSets on UPI clusters.

ToDo:

• Deploy a UPI cluster on GCP
• Determine what providerSpec values are missing from the default MachineSet that is generated by the installer
• Document which values are required to be added to the MachineSet
• Verify that with these minimal changes, that the MachineSet can function as expected

Output:

• Document that can form the basis of an extension of the UPI docs that explains to users how to modify their MachineSets to make them work - this will be passed to the docs team to integrate into product docs
