      Document URL: https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.10/support/troubleshooting/troubleshooting-network-issues.html

Section Number and Name: How the network interface is selected

Describe the issue: The method of overriding the nodeip address selection logic in this section is outdated. It has been replaced by https://access.redhat.com/articles/6956852 .

Suggestions for improvement: Originally we published the new method as a KCS because it's not something we necessarily want customers doing (we prefer that they configure their network to work with the default logic), but since we already have a section discussing this in the official docs I think we should replace it with the new method.

Additional information: The new method has been backported all the way to 4.7 (and a patch to 4.6 is proposed). I don't know if we need to replace this in all versions, but we definitely should for 4.11 and up. This came up in a discussion about a 4.10 deployment, so it might be good to change it there too.
