WIP list of Above-the-sea UI issues found during QE test. URL: http://10.1.155.16:8060/
Base domain field now has basic validation but still allows for wrong values such as 'ocpqe.arm.eng.rdu2.redhat.com.' or 'ocpqe.arm.eng.rdu2.redhat.com1'Navigating from 'Cluster details' to 'Operators' then back, the 'Pull Secret' edit box disappears and only 'Cluster name' and 'Base domain' can be editedIn the 'Operators' screen, selecting all the available bundles still leaves some operators unchecked, make this more clear and obviousWhen selecting 'I'm installing on a disconnected/air-gapped/secured environment', it's not clear what is blocking the flow disabling the 'Next' button (it is the 'Edit pull secret' checkbox). The 'Pull secret' field carries an asterisk signalling its mandatoriness, as such it shouldn't be hidden behind a checkbox- When selecting 'I'm installing on a disconnected/air-gapped/secured environment', reported ISO file size (43.5GB) is much lower than actual file size (50GB)
When selecting 'I'm installing on a disconnected/air-gapped/secured environment', then 'Static IP, bridges, and bonds' in 'Hosts' network configuration', the input fields are reset to empty values when navigating between screens- When selecting 'I'm installing on a disconnected/air-gapped/secured environment', then 'Static IP, bridges, and bonds' in 'Hosts' network configuration', there's NO coherency check across the various IP addresses, subnet and Default gateway (ie. I can set Rendezvous IP as 10.0.0.1, then IPV4 subnet as 192.168.0.0/24 and Default gateway as something else)
- Adding some more observations:
On the Static network configurations page,
-
- The field with text IP address(IPv4) is mandatory but is not annotated with *** like the text MAC Address. When fixing for IP address(IPv4) also fix for IP address(IPv6) or related.
- The Mac Address and IP Address field can take any long string of characters such as ssh key. Also the error messages are not correct. Example - `Value "[object Object]" is not valid MAC address.` See attached screenshots
