      Description of problem:

I'm running 3500 SNO ZTP scale test with ACM 2.16.0 and OCP 4.21.0-rc.1,  deploying 500 SNOs per 30min, 1000 SNOs per gitops application, which works with ACM 2.15/OCP 4.20.  but looks like it doesn't work with ACM 2.16.0/OCP 4.21.0-rc.1,  the first batch of 500 SNOs were deployed successfully, then the deployment is stuck. and looks like the next batch of 500 SNOs is not synced to  gitopts application. Found below error in openshift-gitops-application-controller-0-argocd-application-controller.log, wondering if this is bug or anything new need to config?time="2026-01-12T21:03:17Z" level=warning msg="error patching application with operation state: unable to determine group/version/kind: cbor: exceeded max number of elements 1024 for CBOR array" app-namespace=openshift-gitops application=ztp-clusters-01 project=ztp-app-project

The log is attached to the Slack thread: https://redhat-internal.slack.com/archives/CMP95ST2N/p1768253414929519

an example of the application that works for ACM2.15/OCP 4.20 is http://d16-h01-000-r650.rdu2.scalelab.redhat.com:8081/results/max1024CBORarray_acm2.15.1-ocp4.20.10-1000cpa_ztp-clusters-01.json

you need login RH VPN to access it. As mentioned in the slack thread, the size of the resource is 4000, somehow it doesn't work with OCP 4.21.0-rc.1  but worked with OCP 4.20
