      This is a clone of issue OCPBUGS-59400. The following is the description of the original issue:

      Description of problem:

       For prometheus-alertmanager, the .gitignore file needs to be modified so yaml files in vendor directory won't be overriden when updating wigh go mod vendor and tidy next time.
