      This is a clone of issue OCPBUGS-71232. The following is the description of the original issue:
      —
      If we pass "" as the imageID into mapiImage, capzImage will return a nil pointer that mapiImage immediately tries to dereference

      Also, returning early in mapiImage swallows marketplace image definitions entirely
