oc new-app discusses the use of pipeline or source and uses docker in the example. However, there is only one reference to the --strategy=docker in an example.

There are three strategies - docker, source, pipeline.

2. You'll see the strategies listed pipeline or source.

And perhaps some earlier narrative text is updated to indicate the preferred use.
