Description of problem:
using a single node baremetal cluster under ACM
build a 3 node virtualization cluster on a dell server
The goal is to re-build customer environments for POC and demos of our technology. In particular the ZTP provisioning using ACM.
The environment is setup to use ACM to provision the Virtualization cluster using idrac8 and kubevirt-redfish emulation for VMs.
These all worked great before I had to rebuild the cluster with new versions of openshift to increase the podnetwork to /21 from /23 as the BMH has been maxed out on pod count but not on resources.
After troubleshooting with engineers, the isoDownloadURL (oc get infraenvs.agent-install.openshift.io -n virt virt -o=jsonpath='{.status.isoDownloadURL}') boots the node but does not configure the networking and fails.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ocp vertion 4.19.14
acm 2.14
How reproducible:
easy
Steps to Reproduce:
1.start singlenode acm cluster
2.run template
3.install fails
Actual results:
Expected results:
a 3 node virtual cluster using bmh redfish emulation works
