Description of problem:

There is a change in Kubernetes 1.33.4 where /proc/interrupts and /sys/devices/system/cpu/${CPUID}/thermal_throttle are masked now.
The change is not documented and causes some partner CNF to have permission issues.

Pre-GA 4.20.0 rc.2+
GA 4.20.0 also has the issue.

Mounting/accessing the files from a container.

Change is was applied in 1.33.4, thus releases before rc2 all worked.
