Due to the VMware CVE-2025-41244 issue, the customer needs to upgrade open-vm-tools to version open-vm-tools-12.5.0-1.el9_6.2.x86_64.

Currently, in the 4.20 EC version, the available RPM version is open-vm-tools-12.5.0-1.el9.x86_64.

Please update rpm-ostree in future releases to use one of the following RPM versions:

open-vm-tools-12.5.0-1.el9_6.2.x86_64 （from GA RHEL repository latest version)

This is to address the issue encountered by the customer.
