Description of problem:
The OpenShift console has introduced the new unified perspective term Core platform.
However, when additional perspectives are exposed due to operators (e.g., Virtualization, ACM) or the Developer perspective, the term Core platform does not appear as expected.
This creates an inconsistent experience for users, who may see different terminology depending on operator enablement. The desired behavior is for the Core platform label to always display consistently as the unified perspective name, regardless of environment setup or installed operators.
1. Install OpenShift and access the console.
2. Verify unified perspective is labeled Core platform.
3. Install an additional operator such as Virtualization or ACM.
4. Refresh the perspective switcher.
5. Observe that Core platform is no longer shown.
Actual Result
The unified perspective label changes or disappears when additional perspectives are enabled.
Expected Result
The unified perspective should always display as Core platform, regardless of operator installation or Developer perspective being exposed.
Impact
• Causes confusion for users moving between environments.
• Inconsistent terminology affects documentation and training.
• Reduces clarity of the unified perspective design intent.
