Before this update, expanding the terminal in the OpenShift Console caused the session to close because the Red Hat OpenShift logo and header overlapped the terminal view. This update fixes the terminal layout so it expands correctly without obstruction. As a result, you can expand or collapse the terminal without connection loss or input interruption. When using the "Expand" button while working in the terminal (OpenShift UI) the RedHat OpenShift logo and header is obstructing the Terminal session. Also, when Expanding and Collapsing, user is unable to continue providing input at the prompt. Users have to refresh or leave the screen to return to a working terminal session.

Further, when the user comes back to the terminal, after refreshing the page, the user is met with an error stating "The Terminal connection has closed."

This behavior has been observed on a cluster running OCP v4.19.5.
