Description of problem:
In the "Installing Operator" informational box, it should not describe the Ansible Automation Platform Operator as a community operator.
![]()
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
v4.19 (believed to be seen in all supported version)
How reproducible:
100%
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install the AAP Operator from the redhat-operators catalog in the Openshift UI
2.Click the OperatorHub tab while the operator is still installing, and click on the AAP Operator tile again.
3. In the operator description, a text box has now been added with the "community operator warning message".
Message box:
This is a community provided Operator. These are Operators which have not been vetted or verified by Red Hat. Community Operators should be used with caution because their stability is unknown. Red Hat provides no support for community Operators.
Expected results:
AAP Operator is a Red Hat supported operator, not a community operator, this message confuses customers. The message should not say this operator is a community operator.
Additional info:
This was originally discovered in https://issues.redhat.com/browse/AAP-52148 and that Jira may have more context.
