Updating existing label with a syntax issue deletes the label

      Description of problem:

         When users open the edit labels modal and update and save an existing key with a syntactic issue, causes the existing label to be deleted.

      How reproducible:

      Steps to Reproduce:

          1. Create a test deployment
    2. Add a label e.g. test=foo and save
    3. Edit labels of test deployment again and attempt to assign test="fee", save

      Actual results:

          The existing label gets deleted.

      Expected results:

          The existing label shouldnt be overwritten when there is problem with syntax.
