Description of problem:

When I'm deploying an application with an annotation:

app.openshift.io/vcs-uri: 'http://private-git.example.com:8080/simple-nginx.git'

the port and .git  is removed in the final link:

How reproducible:

Create an deployment with the annotation and check the link.     

Steps to Reproduce:

Actual results:

Wrong link to git repo    

Expected results:

Use the documentation link to git repo
