This is a clone of issue OCPBUGS-59563. The following is the description of the original issue:

Description of problem:

Client is observing some issues with the openshift  console where they are unable to start pipelines, from OpenShift console.
It is working fine using cli. 

Following is the error they are getting:

the API version in the data (tekton.dev/v1beta1) does not match the expected API version (tekton.dev/v1)

How reproducible:

The original problem we  with OpenShift console  when that plugin is NOT enabled.
When not enabled, console works great. There's only that one broken link, that sometime confuses clients customers.
  
Actual results:

• When viewing a PipelineRun in OpenShift console, the link to parent pipeline is pointing to a v1beta1 URL.
• Customers following that link end up on a page that looks like the v1 one. Yet from there, customers can't start new PipelineRuns.
      

Expected results:

• PipelineRun should shall be able to start from the console.
