The default catalog images built by the pipeline must include an accessible bin/opn binary. If this binary is missing or not executable, it can cause failures when using oc mirror.
To prevent regressions, we should add a consistency test to automatically verify the presence and executability of bin/opn in all catalog images.
What to do here
Add a periodic test that runs for all release branches from 4.17 to the latest, ensuring that bin/opn exists and is executable in every built catalog image.
