If custom logos are defined on the console operator config with appropriate matching configmaps in the openshift-config namespace, these configmaps will get synced into the openshift-console namespace so that they can be consumed by the console application. However, if the console operator config is updated to remove or change the custom logo configuration, any configmaps no longer appearing in the new config will be orphaned in the openshift-console namespace until the source configmap gets deleted from the openshift-config namespace.
