      Description of problem:

      To address https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1953518 a commit [1] was done to the openshift/thanos project. The goal is to replace this downstream commit with a jsonnet change in CMO so that Thanos continues to use miekgdns instead of go as the dns resolver.
