*Cause*: Migrating the monitoring code from the console codebase to the monitoring-plugin created a bug in a single version (4.17) where the external labels from an alert rule weren't added to the alerts labels in the admin perspective. In order to not show silenced alerts in the notification bell, external labels were added, which led to the links in the dashboards pages including the external labels. *Consequence*: The alerts detail page didn't expect external labels, but the notification-bell provided links included them. Thus leading to a "no matching alerts found" page. *Fix*: Add the external labels to the alerts in the monitoring-plugin. *Result*: The notification-bell based links and the alerting pages both expect and include the external labels, so the page can be found.
