Description of problem:
Documentation is wrongly stating that "All nodes must be in the same VLAN" with vSphere UPI installation Furthermore, it also states the following: "All nodes must be in the same VLAN. You cannot scale the cluster using a second VLAN as a Day 2 operation." This seems to be a wrong copy/paste coming from IPI documentation, but not sure when this was added, as a refactoring effort wrongly states that [0] implemented the update.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
4.12+
How reproducible:
Various customers have already different nodes on different VLANs (especially infra roles) without any impacts over running clusters or when expanding (Day2) nodes, so this is not a thing
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Check documentation links [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] - note: content has been moved to different location over different RHOCP versions 2. Check internal discussion links about the wrong content of this statement(s)
Actual results:
Documentation provides wrong statement about the non feasibility of multiple VLANs involved when using RHOCP with vSphere UPI
Expected results:
Documentation should state that this is fine, as long as firewall rules are properly set as per network requirements
