(Ian's suggestion) The RAN and Core reference configurations use "logcollector" for the service account name. This service account will be removed on upgrade of the Cluster Logging Operator from 5.y to 6.0. Use an alternate name for the log collection service account.

(Ian's suggestion) The RAN and Core reference configurations use "logcollector" for the service account name. This service account will be removed on upgrade of the Cluster Logging Operator from 5.y to 6.0. Use an alternate name for the log collection service account.

      Description of problem:

When upgrading the Cluster Logging Operator from 5.x to 6.0 the ServiceAccount "logcollector" will be deleted. The RAN and Core reference configurations use the logcollector ServiceAccount in 6.0 configuration. When the operator is upgraded and 5.x artifacts are removed the service account will be deleted and log exporting will stop.

The workaround is to change the serviceaccount name to a unique name using PolicyGenTemplate or PolicyGenerator overlay.
