      * Previously, the SR-IOV Network Operator could not retrieve metadata when cloud-native network (CNF) workers were deployed with a configuration drive on {rh-openstack-first}. A configuration drive is often unmounted after a boot operation on immutable systems, so now the Operator dynamically mounts a configuration drive when required. The Operator can now retrieve the metadata and then unmount the configuration drive. This means that you no longer need to manually mount and unmount the configuration drive. Description of problem:

If using config-drive for the CNF workers, the SR-IOV network operator won't be able to reach the metadata.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

      All

      How reproducible:

Deploy the CNF workers with config-drive, the SR-IOV network operator won't be able to find the metadata via the config drive because the /host/var/config directory won't exist.

      Actual results:

      /host/var/config directory doesn't exist.

      Expected results:

Config drive is mounted and metadata accessible for the SR-IOV network operator.
