      *Cause*: RegistryMirrorProvider is modifying the cached image directly instead of the internal entries.
      *Consequence*: RegistryMirrorProvider images are not being updated during the reconciliation.
      *Fix*: Modified the way we update the images, avoiding the cache and doing it directly in the entries.
      *Result*: Bug doesn’t present anymore.

      This is a clone of issue OCPBUGS-34540. The following is the description of the original issue:

      ControlePlaneReleaseProvider is modifying the cached release image directly which means the userReleaseProvider is still picking up and using the registry overrides for data-plane components.
