      Description of problem:

      kube-state-metrics failing with "network is unreachable" needing to be restarted manually

      How reproducible:

       I have not been able to reproduce this in a lab cluster

      Steps to Reproduce:

      N/A

      Actual results:

       Metrics not being served

      Expected results:

      kube-state-metrics probe fails and the pod restarts
