VSphere vm's will fail to boot no media

      After a machine config update that rebooted the nodes multiple nodes failed to boot.
      The VSphere web console indicates no media for the boot options.
      ~~~
      Redhat ... no media
      EFI virtual disk (0.0) ... no media
      EFI network 1 .

      • after a minute or so the "boot manager" window will appear in the vm web console
        tried different boot options from the "boot manager" but no change
      • master and worker nodes are not encountering the issue, only nodes designated for ODF
      • Occurring on multiple clusters that are at 4.14.10
        The 4.14.10 clusters are on different VSPhere hosts. All of the VSPhere hosts are version
        7.0u2, vm hardware version 19
      • tried removing the raw disk used for odf, the node still will not boot.
      • After recreating the vm's multiple times, after 4-5 reboots will consistently hit the
        issue again.
      • ODF and storage versions
        ODF 4.14.3
        Local Storage 4.14.0-202312132033 provided by Red Hat
      • clusters that are at 4.12 are not having the issue, the 4.12 clusters are on the same
        VSphere hosts as the 4.14 clusters
