      Description of problem:

Current Openshift console display is using a graphical only output which is only usable from the iLo/iDRAC/BMC webpage and is not parsable.
The addition of a text serial console would be useful for easier engineer access to the console using tools such as ipmi-console or redfish/ssh without having to reboot the server to configure the boot line.
This is also very useful in a CI environment where we could monitor the console for logs during the entire boot

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

      How reproducible:

          Always

      Steps to Reproduce:

          1. Boot OpenShift
          2. access the text console via idmi-console or SSH to Redfish endpoint
          3.

      Actual results:

          No console output

      Expected results:

interactive text console output of the entire boot sequence

      Additional info:

To add text console output to the current graphical only configuration, I used the following kernel parameters:

      nomodeset console=tty0 console=ttyS0,115200n8
