Description of problem:
The official Hosted Control Plane documentation (https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_advanced_cluster_management_for_kubernetes/2.9/html/clusters/cluster_mce_overview#doc-wrapper) does not contain any documentation on how to configure the OAuth provider for the hosted cluster. Since the OAuth configuration for HCP is different than a standard deployment, we need to ensure that there is documentation available. Upstream has this lightly documented here: https://hypershift-docs.netlify.app/how-to/cluster-configuration/#oauth-configuration which I was able to use, but it would be best if this information was included in the Red Hat docs.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
4.14
How reproducible:
always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. try to find OAuth documentation in official docs (docs.openshift.com, or on access.redhat.com) 2. you wont find documentation on how to configure HCP OAuth
Actual results:
you wont find documentation on how to configure HCP OAuth
Expected results:
As HCP is GA, we should have documentation on how to configure OAuth
Additional info:
Our PoC was based on OpenShift Virt, documentation for configuring OAuth in HCP is needed for each platform (OCV, AWS, BareMetal, IBMz, etc)
