Description of problem:
Working on a case where the customer is using an endpoint resource to monitor an external application via ServiceMonitor, from time to time the endpoint is remove by the endpoint-controller (which runs inside the kube-controller-manager)

Not being able to reproduce the issue

The endpointe is deleted by system:serviceaccount:kube-system:endpoint-controller
Expected results:
The endpoint should not be deleted
Additional info:
Is there any other possibility, other than deleting the respective service that would cause the endpoint controller to delete an endpoint resource?
