OCPBUGS-19093 allows agent-tui to run on the serial console when there is no graphical console. The range of colours available here is much smaller, and the UI is shown in black and white. Unfortunately the selected option is shown in normal text, while unselected options are shown with reversed background. Worse still, there are only 2 options in each screen of agent-tui, so it looks like opposite-land, where everything does the thing you didn't expect.

If you manage to enter nm-tui then the selection in there looks as you'd expect it (selected option has reversed background).
