Description of problem:
Looking at the telemetry data for Nutanix I noticed that the “host_type” for clusters installed with platform nutanix shows as “virt-unknown”. Do you know what needs to happen in the code to tell telemetry about host type being Nutanix? The problem is that we can’t track those installations with platform none, just IPI. Create an OCP Nutanix cluster

The telemetry data for Nutanix shows the “host_type” for the nutanix cluster as “virt-unknown”.
