      8/2: unblocked QE with a dev build; smoke test successful on operator build; next step is to integrate into an official build.
      7/31: testbuild create late friday; smoke testing will start today
      7/24: look to unblock QE temperarily whiole we work on the final build. Plan is to test the new package from RHEL on rhel 8 base package.
      7/18: updated fix required after meeting with RHEL team on gpsd - expected to be posted on 7/19
