I asked app-sre on https://coreos.slack.com/archives/CCRND57FW/p1648989955217319 what would it take to upgrade nodejs on Jenkins from v12 (soon EOL) to v16 or at least v14.
Their initial response is to run the build in a container, letting us use whatever version we want, decoupled from any other repo running on same image.
