after the migration of our repo' to a new one with public visibility, renovate integration seems broken, even tho the renovate GH app was re-installed to the new repo.

the problems are - the "dependency dashboard" is not being created (in a GH issue), and dependency-update PRs are not being generated at all.

we discussed moving away from direct integration with renovate, and instead utilize konflux' built-in integration with mintmaker (a wrapper for renovate).
mintmaker should have be working out-of-the-box, but we failed to make it work; evidently it doesn't support NPM yet (tho support is planned - see the linked tickets).
