OCMUI Center Team Sprint 271
Description of the Problem:
The ROSA Get Started page currently does not display any banner guiding users to use offline tokens after the recent feature change in OCMUI-2995. At present, the page only offers the SSO login option.
In contrast, both the OCM and ROSA token pages default to SSO login but also include a banner with a link that helps users access and use offline tokens. To ensure consistency and usability across these platforms, it would be beneficial to introduce a similar banner on the ROSA Get Started page.
Use Case:
Existing users who prefer to use offline tokens and rely on the Get Started page to retrieve ROSA login commands may find themselves unable to do so. This creates the impression that SSO is mandatory, which may be misleading and restricts user flexibility. Introducing an offline token guidance banner would address this and provide a better user experience.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open ROSA getstarted page https://console.dev.redhat.com/openshift/create/rosa/getstarted
- Review the step 2.1 definitions.
Actual Results:
The ROSA Get Started page currently supports only the ROSA SSO login option for both existing and new users
Expected results:
A banner should be added to the ROSA Get Started page to guide both new and existing users to offline token-based login options, ensuring consistency and user flexibility.
