Description
As a user of ROSA HCP in FedRAMP (GovCloud), I need to be able to view and manage my AWS Billing Account information so that I have the same billing visibility and control available in the Commercial environment.
Current State
In FedRAMP environments, AWS Billing Account functionality is currently hidden from users:
- Day 1: The AWS Billing Account dropdown is not displayed in the ROSA HCP cluster creation wizard
- Day 2: The edit pencil icon for updating the Billing Marketplace Account is not shown on the Cluster Details Overview tab
Desired State
FedRAMP users should have full visibility and control over AWS Billing Account selection and management, matching the functionality available in Commercial environments for both cluster creation (Day 1) and cluster management (Day 2).
Feature Flags
Two feature flags control this functionality:
- ocmui-require-aws-billing-in-boundary — Enables AWS Billing Account selection in the Day 1 ROSA HCP wizard for FedRAMP
- ocmui-edit-billing-account — Enables the edit pencil icon for Day 2 billing account management (already exists in Commercial, needs enablement in FedRAMP)
