In the OpenTelemetry documentation is not clear how to run the Collector as a sidecar, deployment, daemonset or statefulset.

Use case

The previous was observed in a use case where some applications (intercope and IBM (MQ)) are writing the logs to a file inside the pod, but not printing to the standard output and it's required to get these log files out of the pod.

One valid option should be run the collector as sidecar and with the Filelog Receiver [0], in TP for now, read it, but as the documentation is not clear about how to run as sidecar, it was not possible to join the dots to know about this use case could be covered with the OpenTelemetry sidecar
