Proposed title of this feature request

 include events count metrics for user-defined project 

What is the nature and description of the request?

As we have the event count metrics for the default namespace openshift-* and Kube-* which get by below query.

 event_recorder_total_events_count 

But the metrics for the user define project is not get captured even though we enable user workload monitoring. **

Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements)

They want to know events count for the user-defined project to have full metrics for the events 

List any affected packages or components.
