Enable hostmetrics receiver in the OpenTelemetry collector
What is the nature and description of the request?
This feature request consists of enabling the Hostmetrics receiver as part of the productized version of the OpenShift OpenTelemetry Distribution.
Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements)
RHEL Subscription team evaluates the collector as a singular option to extract CPU metrics they need. (Without PCP and Prometheus endpoint)
