Export metrics from Tempo 

What is the nature and description of the request?

looking for a way to read the OpenTelemtry data forwarded to Grafana Tempo and automate a notification for a slow-responding service. 

Tempo has a feature:  metrics-generator

Ability to display SPM by using OpenTelemetry. 

Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements)
