      1. Proposed title of this feature request

Labeling events on Kafka sink support for K8sEventReceiver

      2. What is the nature and description of the request?

A customer with a huge number of events is forwarding them to a kafka sink. They currently use Eventrouter to send events to Kafka from multiple clusters. For now, they have to dedicate one topic per cluster in order to separate the events by the cluster they belong to, but they are starting to grow in the number of clusters, some of them ephemeral… so it’s no longer feasible to dedicate one topic per cluster. They need to be able to use a shared topic, but the events need to be tagged at the source to identify which cluster they belong to. We have this RFE https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RFE-8630 created for that.

      3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

Because they have just a kafka topic for all the clusters, and they need to add labels somehow.

      4. List any affected packages or components.

      OpenTelemetry (Tracing)
