Proposed title of this feature request:
support for probabilisticsamplerprocessor and tailsamplingprocessor in Red Hat Build of Open Telemetry
What is the nature and description of the request ?
The SOGEI S.p.A. (Account Number: 509799) is asking for the possibility to use the following processors with Red Hat Build of Open Telemetry (Open Telemetry v.0.119.x [1])
- probabilisticsamplerprocessor
- tailsamplingprocessor
Both these processors aren't still supported in Red Hat Build of Open Telemetry v.0.119.x [1] but are today available in the Community operator [2].
Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements)
To meet their internal requirements, the Customer is planning to install the Community operator today until support for these processors is established in the Red Hat Build of OpenTelemetry.
Could it be possible to include these processors in the next Red Hat Build of Open Telemetry ?
List any affected packages or components.
