Trying to apply the steps contained in the 4.4.3.3.2. Enabling self-signed CA certificates I have failed to understand how to insert the proper caCert string in the yaml manifest, and I had to opt out for switching to this option as a workaround:

      insecureSkipTLSVerify: "true"

Providing a real world example on how to encode the cert string and place it in the yaml file (i.e. which command to use, which part of the cert string to encode, do I need to quote the encoded text in the yaml?) would greatly help the user experience in using self signed certificates with tls enabled.
