Epic Goal
Intel® Ethernet Controller E800 series (Columbiaville) comes with an enhanced programmable pipeline called Dynamic Device Personalization (DDP). To support it in openshift, the SRIOV Network Operator needs to be able to:
- Support basic SRIOV functionality for Columbiaville NICs
- Discover the DDP profiles loaded on the NIC
- Select the NIC based on the DDP profiles
- Pass DDP profile selector to the SRIOV device plugin
The following job is out of the scope of this EPIC:
- load the DDP profiles to the NIC
