DNS Names error message displayed on every refresh (Loki-less)

      Description of problem:

      When running Loki-less, there is a warning message that DNS names are not supported without Loki.   The message is shown on every refresh, even when dismissed by closing the dialog.   Is it possible to only display it on initial load.  It is a bit annoying to have it re-displayed on top of whatever is being viewed.
