      When using the Gateway API, Gateway objects are parents of Deployments, as shown here: https://gist.github.com/david-martin/d9a3bd1f67c176bd93ecf5b31f889ee1

      Currently FLP stops at Deployment for determining owners. We'd like to go one step further, so Gateways are identified as owners.

      Potentially, this could be a breaking change for users who rely on owner types in their queries. It really depends on what sort of controllers can sit on top of Deployments. To avoid unforeseen consequences, an option could be to white-list allowed OwnerTypes, at least for those above Deployments
