We know that cacheMaxSize is something to fine-tune however this is not apparent in the current recommendations that we have. We should run different perf-scale tests with different values of cacheMaxSize, and analyze the results, to come up with better recommendations.

Same for the Kafka settings (number of partitions and replicas) - especially, the current recommendation of 24 replicas on a 25-nodes cluster might be oversized.
